<SNIP> Watching The World Series with Sleepy Suzy by my side. Dunno why it is, but whenever I eat a salad, she sits there and watches every move I make while I'm eating it. Silly cat!
- It might be horrified disbelief: some cats have very narrow views on what cats should eat, and regard us as honorary felines in need of some re-education; on the other hand, I recall an occasion when my mother was preparing a lunch for the local Women's Institute: she made a large salad in a bowl and set it on the dining-room table, then went back to the kitchen to finish cutting sanwiches or whatever, leaving the cat alone with the salad - no risk, you'd have thought. The doorbell rang, as a WI member or two arrived a little early. Mother ushered them into the dining room. The cat (another ginger, what else?) was on the table, pawing slices of cucumber out of the bowl and eating them.

Scottish Cake in the IMP. This damn meer has broken my back in my attempt to color it. Over 100 bowls and little to no coloring. Still not enjoying Scottish Cake but determined to figure it out!
@fishmansf - Admirable persistence. I enjoyed it right from the first pipeful; some call it straightforward and uncomplicated, but personally I find there's a lot going on with it. Some say it takes at least half a tin to understand it, and I'd go along with that. Perhaps it's the Meer? What else do you smoke SC in?
