Going to have Samuel Gawith Squadron Leader in a Peterson 9BC Sterling Billiard that was made in England. The Sterling line formally debuted as a Rogers Imports line in the US in the early ’50s—this pipe might be from 1953–1958.

The grain of this pipe is really appealing and I like the stem accent. Many of your pipes are very strongly grained, I have trouble wrapping my head around some of their styles,though. This one is very appealing, you may be broadening my appreciation of craftsmanship.
Could you give us a top-down image of the bowl to really show off the end-grain on the rim?

Thanks, there are no hallmarks, just K&P in shields. It is stamped “STERLING SILVER” for the Sterling line of pipes for the US market.
