I really bought a lot of CRFP to smoke it, not to sell it or even age, I wouldn’t be surprised if the 30 tins are gone in a year. Another repeat in a Heeschen

Fantastic cigar on a full stomach. It’s the only cigar that kicked my ass. Do you find them as strong as I do?

I just finished it and did not find it to be particularly strong. 601 Blue Label is much stronger and so are many other straight Ligero cigars from Nicaragua.

Not yet. I admire yours. Thats probably the catalyst for wanting one. There was a black Rhodesian about six months ago on SPC that I slept on and missed it. I’ve been aggravated ever since. Much like you I enjoy stacks and Canadians.
How are you liking your new Ashton Canadian? Its a looker as well !

Check some of the Italian retailers too - there's some nice Il Ducas out there and his stems are fantastic.

The Ashton has been a pleasant surprise. It's been a great smoker since the first light and it's very light for its size - only 30g.
If the shank were the same circumference the entire length I probably wouldn't have given it a second look. The taper of the shank is what really grabbed my attention, and it leads to a much narrower stem.

Did a set of walking reps, and with aid from the gusty winds, I smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem.

I haven’t had any of the recent iterations, but the ones I had in the ’90s were relatively strong and had the most earthy notes of all cigars—very tasty!
