Just cracked open trying for the first time State of Virginia in a Radice Clear Bent Dublin with Baldo Baldi briar aged over 20 years.

I mixed the three together to start, and I’ve only got 4-5 puffs in, and starting out very mild and slightly sweet, so far, off to a nice start.

I’m probably only on my 8-10th bowl in this new pipe, no where near broke in, but everything I’ve thrown at it, has been outer world. 🚀

I’d have to say, if you don’t own a pipe carved from some pretty old briar, I think it’s certainly something to put on your radar, for any pipe enthusiast.

Be well everyone! ❤️

Had a low calorie snack, and am half way through this bowl of 2019 Prince Albert in a 2020 smooth light brown, slight bent J. Everett straight grain chubby author with a spalted birch ferrule and a black saddle vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Picked an easy going simple blend while I am doing some reading.
