Enjoyed a tasty Snap Dragon apple, and have about a quarter of a bowl left of Wilke Lizzie Blood Virginia in a straight black with burgundy undertone sandblasted early 1960s Lane era Charatan 420 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

A couple minutes away from smoking D&R Raccoon’s Friend in a pre-1980s straight dark brown Comoy's Sandblast 186 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Off to work I go!

The last flake of a 9 year old tin of Capstan Yellow in an unfinished Sav 320.

I'm a fan of Capstan Blue but some age has really made the Yellow into a treat. Nice complexity and a mix of interesting spice notes with nary a rough edge anywhere. Highly cellarable.

I've read lots of reviews saying that Capstan Blue is the more flavorful of the two, but since it's already fairly mild to my tastes, I wasn't super-interested in the Yellow/Gold version. But if the latter turns into something really nice with age (I know @hoosierpipeguy also likes it), perhaps I'll start putting some away for later.

Did a little snacking, and am smoking D&R Penhooker in a 1990 straight dark brown Commemorative reproduction of the 1890 Peterson Patent System 12393 stack billiard with a silver band and a bowed black acrylic 32 AB long stem p-lip. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Earlier tonight, we went to the Wooden Match in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, for the monthly Lehigh Valley Pipe Club.



Our friend, John, came along:



I had Esoterica Margate (2021) in a Savinelli Series III 320 KS Author.



I was glad to see @lestrout again and pleased to finally meet @woodsroad . By this time, towards the end of the evening, I was smoking an Hoyo de Monterrey Amistad Gold by AJ Fernandez (in my right hand), but, we had to pose for the photo with pipes:



I was very pleasantly surprised to meet @Copernicuslyrun ! I had no idea he’d be there.



It was 60 plus degrees out and very comfortable outside. It was fun to hear some other details about how woodsroad and @condorlover1 raised War Horse from the dead that I didn’t hear at the last meeting attended.

KBV Sakura in a Radice Rind Straight.

When I first saw this one, it really sounded great, but there was that word CHERRY, a goblin of the past. LOL

Well, somewhere in the very beginnings of my pipe youth, and smoking one of those nasty, makes you want to gag, so bloody sweet, overkill cherry flavored blends, my brain was Ghosted for life! LOL

I swear, anything with that word, I ran the other way, until I saw this, I just had to try it.

And oh my, am I glad I jumped at this, and I better run back and grab some more before they are gone.

This one is a winner folks! @JimInks are you getting some of this 2022 batch? I’d love to read a review...

Another second cob from MM filled with P-Cones after breakfast. This one came with a bowl slightly out of shape, otherwise it fits perfectly into the right hand and a perfect smoker.

Bad editing. I blame my diet!

Part way through this bowl of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. I may end the day with this smoke. Time to check on the ferals.
