Half way through this bowl of year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Tanshell octagonal paneled EK F/T billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem.

I goofed the other day and said I was smoking 10th anniversary Odyssey (which is not a thing). I’m blaming the beers for that one. I got confused with this blend and Odyssey. I haven’t tried the standard Samarra yet but I’ll miss this when it’s gone.

Did some snacking, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian 263 with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Just finished smoking Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked.

Just passing the quarter mark on this bowl of Watch City Queequeg’s Moby Dick Series in a slight bend smooth brown post WWII 1940s Sasieni Ivory 101 Westminster diplomat with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Haunted Bookshop in this Ashton. It is my unofficial Halloween pipe. Also my son’s birth year pipe. I don’t love this blend, but the name draws me to it in October. It actually ages (or mellows) fairly well. This is 2oz of bulk purchased in 2019, and I’ve smoked a few bowls every October. It’s definitely better than when ‘fresh’ but still not an all-star, for me.

Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed Daisy the Feral Princess, and Suzy and Molly.
