UB I live on the far west coast of Tasmania looking at the Great Southern Ocean and farming a few livestock. As for the rain……………well it’s turned into a flood with evacuations further east along the coast. Tassie has some pretty big rivers for such a small island and the catchments get big rainfall often but this is really off the charts rain. I think Ive had about 15 inches/375mm in last 36 hours and it’s still raining very heavily as I type. I have to move cattle so I grab some pics.Where are you living over there? I’ve been to Australia in the 1980s hitchhiking with my former girlfriend along the coast from Sydney, Brisbane up to Perth in seven weeks. Met a lot of friendly people there. Most invited us to stay a few days at their homes. She left Germany, and is living in NSW for more than 20 years now, her mother comes from Sydney.
I hope the rain will not turn out to a flood.
Just smoking some Black and Beauty from Kiel. Perique/ Cavendish/ Virginias in one of my homemades with Cumberland mouthpiece, stained in South African Pinotage.
Have a nice day.

Ah yes, Tasmania is a different animal than the continent in the north. A lot more down south to the pole. It’s the first time Google maps didn’t find a route, I just tried. It’s easier to visit Washington, Missouri, to buy some cobs. To Melbourne it says 23 hours flight, so it’s approximately 24000 kilometres from home.UB I live on the far west coast of Tasmania looking at the Great Southern Ocean and farming a few livestock. Smoking Stokkebye’s cube cut in the Winslow pot before venturing outside.
