Carol, if that's a standard size you might find a replacement stem on Ebay --- people sell groups of stems from pipes they've worked on ... some appear newish. Just a thought ... Good save though !

I bought it through a Chinese tobacco dealer (overseas agent purchase)
It is said that this product was sold in a tobacco store in Ginza, Tokyo. The store manager said that the raw material of this pipe tobacco was a India made Virginia. It was produced by a German OEM and stored for three years before it was shipped back to Japan for sale.
