Rattray's Highland Targe in a Savinelli Roma Lucite bent pot. I tried this blend for the first time last night and in this thread remarked that it wasn't really tasting like much and that I would have to try it in another pipe. I hit the "post" button and then settled in for the last half of the bowl. This blend went from "don't really taste much" to "need to stock up with a dozen tins immediately" in the blink of an eye.

Tonight, it's smoking even better. I can't place what I'm tasting, but whatever it is, I'm into it. In a big way. Last night, when I packed the bowl, I was craving Westminster, but my tins of it are in storage. This tastes nothing like Westminster, but man, do I ever dig this blend.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, tuna steaks and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've a third of a bowl left of year 2018 Mac Baren Original Flake in a straight smooth dark brown 1918 Pre-Republic Peterson’s Dublin 2 apple with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Running low on this pouch now. Watching The Frisco Kid starring Cagney. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
