Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught catfish and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm almost half way through this bowl of KBV Embry’s Coconut Kake in a 1960s Austrian meerschaum bent apple with a tapered yellow stem. Working on a review of this blend as I watch the Astros-Phillies play.

Almost half way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked.

View attachment 178129KBV Mycroft in a Aldo Velani Titan….first Time smoking this, just arrived. perfect out of the pouch, totally enjoying this….Listening to the World Series. Vodka cranberry, smelling roasted chicken from the kitchen.
How is that pipe as a smoker ? I think I looked at that pipe or one very similar a little while ago. I really liked the one I saw but hesitated.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2018 Sutliff Dunhill Elizabethan Match in a straight smooth brown 1960s-70s BBB Own Make 506 Canadian with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Time to clean a few pipes.

I bought it and put it aside for a couple of years after smoking it because it didn’t impress me. I just brought it back out and it’s going into my rotation. It seems like with me certain pipes fit better in my smoking routine because my taste changes with pipe size and what I’m smoking. I’m glad I have it now because I have the time to smoke a big bowl more now than before because I’m retired, so it’s a keeper and I can enjoy a big bowl because I have the time to just sip it and smoke for an hour or more. So I recommend it because if you don’t need a long smoke now you will eventually need one. Hope this helps

Stanwell in a Stanwell...stanwell done!

Drying the last of a tin of CAO Moontrance, to go in my luntingware (MM Country Gent). Only problem with this blend, other than the excessive dry time required, is that I inexplicably get Moondance by Van Morrison stuck in my head, sometimes for an hour or more. Not the worst song to get stuck in one's head, but it still gets bothersome after a while, and I have to try and replace it with something annoying and catchy, like the theme from the Kids In The Hall sketch "On The Subject Of Me." Works surprisingly well.

Wow, did I really just write all that crap? I'm gonna go smoke now! 😁
Haha I’m curious if anyone else gets a song stuck in their head from a blend. Mine is Old Joe Krantz and Neil Young’s Old Man. Old Joe take a look at my pipe…
