And so to bed… Right after I finish this bowl.
My first taste of this Esoterica blend and I’m in love. The word I keep coming back to to describe this smoke: silky. So smooth, it leaves a light, creamy sensation on my tongue. The flavor and notes I expect from a great English are there, but they are gently subdued. Sort of like a really good session IPA, which is brewed to be enjoyed longer than a similar but stronger beer, I feel like I could smoke this all day. Cheers!

A third of the way through this bowl of C&D Yorktown in a 1991 Ashton Brindle X straight brown sandblast dublin with a square shank and tapered square acrylic cumberland stem.
Pipe by Lee, Three Star. Yeh, thought I’d try one out. What do I think? I’m not disappointed. I do need to refurbish this pipe some more. The stars need touching up and I want to take the bowl all the way to the briar. Comparable to a 40’s Kaywoodie. Currently smoking red Virginia.
The corn cobs phase in my rotation is coming to an end today (excluding the "Miniature") with a "Pride" which I loaded with King Frederik IX's Mixture from Denmark, a nice Latakia blend in my opinion.

Just finished smoking D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight WW2 Pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem.
Now smoking D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth brown undated pre-republic Peterson Shamrock 263 Canadian with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite p-lip stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

About a third of a bowl left of Sutliff Pressed Burley in a 1929-1931 KBB Kaywoodie Drinkless 7782 straight smooth walnut bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Fed the ferals, and Suzy and Molly. Have a little more work to do.
Viprati in a Brigham on way to the tree stand on this fine fall morning.
D&R 3 Sails mixed with Sutliff stoved VA and Sutliff perique in a Pride with vulchanite stem.
Good morning all. I’m starting the day with EGR in a cob with a hot cup of coffee. I have a jacket on this morning . 60 f with clear skies to hopefully display a beautiful sunrise.
Erinmore Flake in my Werner Mummert sandblasted bulldog paired with some Cabernet Sauvignon while watching the German Netflix series Dark.
Starting the morning with some well aged Peterson Sherlock Holmes and a cup of Assam so strong a mouse could walk across it. Between the two, tannin overload! The Carey is helping bleed just a wisp of air into the mix and keeping it reasonable.
