Good Morning Gentlemen! I have been up since 4.30 AM tidying up a few unfinished tasks. Just finished a bowl of S&G Virginia Plug in one of my favorite beater meerschaum pipes. You know the shape and age so there is no reason to elaborate. Later this morning post 12'ish I will be joining my good friend Mark and many new friends in Tampa for the kick off of Winter 2021 Florida Pipe Club at Edwards Pipe & Tobacco followed by an early dinner at my favorite Restaurant Columbia in Ybor City.
Good afternoon. We continue with another delicious smoke. G.L. Pease: Spark Plug, in a corn cob General, and a small glass of whisky................I love this tobacco, it's my english blend number one.
If you're familiar with the flake, then I think you'd appreciate the difference. Deeper & a fuller taste. ?

I've got about 6 or 7 bowls remaining in a mix of: D&R TwoTimer, Sutliff J-4, Sutliff aged red VA, Sutliff Dark Stoved VA, and Sutliff blending perique which I'm smoking now in one of two pipes my only son has gifted me, a Yello-Bole Lovat. I sanded the varnish off of it a few yrs back. The grain isn't pretty, but the overall look is easier to my eye and it feels much nicer in hand. No fills!
BMP in the slightly bent Brebbia Bulldog this morning. Been favoring the wide shallow bowl lately for quicker smokes. Iced coffee with cream and sugar is my drink of choice, just finished a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich.

Getting ready to smoke some 2010 MacClelland Virginia in my HS Studio Reverse Calabash Freehand pipe. This should get me to Tampa and Edward’s Pipe and Tobacco.
