I wish i could get my hand on some frog morton seem like a very good tobacco ! Plus i'm a big fan of Tolkien universe, the name of the blend appeal a lot to me
Frog is classic & of course highly desirable. Gone baby gone now, but still available if you know where go & are willing to pay the price. Fortunately a lot of good blenders still out there even if McClelland is no more.

For example: I used to miss Frog Morton's Cellar a lot more before I found SPC's Plum Pudding Bourbon Barrel.

AJ’s VaPer (2014) in an 1898 Peterson Patent Bulldog with P-Lip. I popped this tin today and am glad I did. Cardboard “tins” aren’t built for deep cellaring in my experience and the tobacco is currently perfect, but it would be all downhill from here.

I dunno. I've popped open H&H tins from 2008 and later that held up just fine. In fact, the eight ounce can of Rolando's Own I've been smoking was made in 2012, and the tobacco has been perfect in it. Since the tins are food grade, I'm not worrying about them as long as I keep them in the house at room temperature.

About a quarter of a bowl left of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Been watching the World Series via telephone with a good friend and fellow reviewer at TR, Big Train.

I’ll gladly be corrected. Thanks. I have six more tins, so I was worried.
