My name is John, so this Sir John’s Virginia Flake suit’s me well. Using the pipe I find myself reaching for most often, an Orlik Pre-C Old Root Emperor 193; thinking maybe 50’s-60’s? I love smoking this pipe!
OHM Turkish Red in a Jerry Perry cocobolo carved pocket pipe freehand in a deep red stain with a deep orange stem, a deep burley blend with a Turkish twang, and a nifty compact pipe with sufficient chamber. I like the asymmetry of this pipe, homespun and sophisticated at the same time.
On a home office Friday that turned out longer than expected I smoked my biggest bowl, a rusticated Cumberland BAFF (by unfortunately retired Austrian pipemaker David Wagner), filled up to the edge with HU Daddy Gefftl.
