Enjoyed a tasty Jazz apple, and am now smoking D&R VIP in a 2004 smooth long shank lumberman Trever Talbot Ligne Bretagne Faite en Bretagne 4/3 with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Working and listening to the post-game playoff talk.

I don’t really breathe through my pipe any more than is incidental to the act of breathing through my nose.
And I reckon a soldier on rations would try to make his tobacco last, so slow would be my guess.

Having some St Bruno Ready Rubbed in my meer hobby block, with a Reed’s ginger beer to drink.

Thanks for the reply, I've had a go at breath smoking when I smoked my clay pipe of Special Virginia in the churchyard yesterday.
It helped and made a difference, the clay bowl doesn't get hot and the tobacco burns for longer!
Still need to work on my smoking times if I'm going to take part in slow smoking competitions!

PA in a cob. I wrote the drug store tobaccos off 40 years ago, thought they were all cheap burley with artificial flavorings and PG but they get respect from many members so I dedicated aMM Legend to this blend. I learned a long time ago that snap judgements are often misleading. We’ll see!
