Haven’t had time for a pipe in a few days. But had the chance for a half bowl of Synjecos Bad Nuns 2. It was delicious and can’t wait to sit and relax with a full bowl. Looking forward to trying a few SG plugs and Revor Plug this week if time allows.

Whole leaf.

Threw together a mix this morning of jars a had on the shelf. Thought I would spice up the black stoved kentucky twist I have been smoking.

60% black stoved kentucky with a spray of tonka bourbon. Shag cut.
25% black stoved red virginia. Ribbon.
15% latakia. Ribbon.

The straight Kentucky is nice, but of course can get monotonous. Also don't really need something that strong for the first smoke of the day. The latakia adds a richness and the virginia a sweetness, while the kentucky still is the main player after the latakia smokyness wears of in the first quarter of the bowl. A nice rich smoke!

In a tavern style clay. The pipe I always use to taste a blend for the first time.

That's a good question, something from the bottom of my drying bowl, I think partly Peterson Irish Flake and perhaps the last pieces of Dunhill Durbar, in a nifty little nose warmer tomato pocket pipe by Jerry Perry, with a medium walnut stain, and thick round shank and amber color saddle stem, light weight but sturdy for toting around, little chance of breaking it is so compact, but enough bowl for a good smoke.

About a third of a bowl left of year 2010 STG Schippers in a 1977 straight black rusticated Sir Brent 253 billiard with a silver band repair and a brown pearl grey acrylic tapered stem. Got my first set of walking reps in, and I'm going to relax for a bit.
