Continuing my experiments with 1q and 5 brothers, I took 1.2 oz of 1q and mixed it with .8 oz of 5 brothers, and stuck it in a jar for a week. Loaded up a saddle bit billiard I have, and this is an ideal smoke for me. It's smoking a little hot, but that's on me. I'm just enjoying it too much. I'm calling it "5Q"

Just passing the half way mark on this bowl of Wilke No.184 in a 1990 smooth medium bend Nording freehand sitter with a wider top than bottom that also has a ridge and a narrower bowl resembling an upside down spout, with an amber colored lucite saddle stem with cream swirls. Have enough left for a bowl or so. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Oh dear! That’s just ridiculous! Yeah, I’m pretty sure I’ve got all three of those lovely pics on my Condor Plugs. Ugh! They completely ruined the Elizabethan Mixture, it was once an elegant looking tin. I can’t believe it’s come to this. I used to collect tins, not anymore. Luckily in the US they aren’t that bad but I’m sure we’ll get there. The funny thing is, I buy Cope all the time... still haven’t covered those cans with horrific images. The warning label covers what, 30% of the tin.

Got a pinch of Cope straight in now. I like long cut mint too.

I was still hungry, so I did a bit of snacking, and am now smoking Ken Byron Ventures Cool Hand Prototype in a 2002 Ser Jacopo Delecta Fatta A Mano R1 sandblast Rhodesian with a smooth extension at the shank with a military mount and a black acrylic tapered stem. Have enough left for a bowl or two. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Now smoking Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Chatting with the fella who gifted me the pipe.
