Dunhill Flake (2012) this is from one of the very first jars I cellared. I was so proud of myself. I had no idea it would turn me into a hoarder. Lol. In a 1921-1925 Drinkless Civic, a predecessor to the Kaywoodie Stinger System. Note, this pipe also has the Peerless Stem Logo.
Started the morning with MM 965 in a Sterncrest. Pre packed a couple of MM Rob Roys with Cameron from Pipes by George for working in the yard this afternoon.
Just finished a bowl of Wilkes Lizzie Blood Red in my Gian Gamboni Pencil Biiliard and now I’ve loaded my 2013 Paolo Becker Morta Dublin with Newminster 400 Superior Navy Flake. It’s going to be a wonderful afternoon.
Newminster 400 Navy Flake in a Jeantet wire carved billiard. Fold and stuff flake last night to give it time to dry. Burning well. Of course, with coffee.
Loading up some Granger in a Dunhill Shell with no date stamp. Why no date stamp, because this pipe had a shank-ectomy. The shank was factory replaced, thus the new shank doesn’t have the date stamp. The reason Dunhill dated their pipes was because of their warranties. Factory repairs weren’t redated.
