Was out having lunch with friends, and managed to smoke a bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter. Now, it's time to smoke Edgeworth Slices in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09).

SG Squadron Leader in a no name bent Rhodesian. Bought a tin at the local B&M after reading many positive reviews. Popped the tin and smoked a bowl on the drive back to the office. On the plus side, after 2 false lights the third light took and the bowl (it's on the small side) burned to completion.
Overall though I'd have to say my first experience with it was 'meh'. It is billed as a mild English, so I wasn't expecting to be bowled over with Lat power or nicotine or anything else but unfortunately what it reminded most of was a cigarette. So that's bad. Maybe it'll be different and better with some dry time or age. I'll finish the tin but don't know if I'll buy again.

@hierophant - I totally agree re Squadron Leader - 'meh'. It makes bland look good.
Was Warrior Plug in a Charatan's Make Belvedere 260DC. Now it's Revor Plug in an MM Country Gent.

Just finished smoking B&B Scott’s Companion in a 1990 Peterson Irish Second Oom Paul natural. Next is Charing Cross in a medium bend 2001 Ural lattice Rhodesian with a yellow stem with white swirls.
