Carver of the CAO Meerschaum pipes, İsmet Bekler passed away in 2018. He had taught a lot of meerschaum pipe makers. CAO's owner Cano Aret Özgener also passed away not long after in 2018. He was a prominent figure in popularization of Turkish meerschaum in the US.
SPC Plum Pudding Bourbon Barrel Aged in an algerian briar straight bulldog by Hialeah. Opted to load more chunks. Pretty tasty!
A quarter of the way through this bowl of straight burley in a 2002 IMP smooth full bend egg shaped meer with a black acrylic saddle stem. It took three different kinds of wet food to find one that meets with Norton the Nosey's approval. That skinny fella sure is finicky. He does make me chuckle when I open a can because he stretches up to touch the top of the cabinet with a soft meow in anticipation of food.
Meet up with a high school friend I haven’t seen in some time and had lunch, we chatted for 3 hours. Now back at my moms house smoking a Tatuaje brown label. 
Got called in this morning, so the commuter pipe (a Briarlee Illustrious) as well as myself are back on the job. It was nice, yet felt odd to be off work for three weeks plus.

First round of shoveling done, probably the last round for the day and Ill deal with the rest tomorrow because I want to be lazy. The snow will be a problem for Future Heavy.

Elizabethan Mixture in MM Country Gentleman
Hanging out at a friend's house as we smoke some '23 Corn Cob Pipe (and a Button Nose). I've got my ONE Anse and he's got a Moonshone Blackout Bent Dublin.
A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. I introduced a few more toys for Norton the Nosey to play with since he seemed a little bored. He's batting them all around the place and enjoying himself. Daisy the Feral Princess and Sleepy Suzy are staring at him like he's nuts. I'm getting ready to clean a few pipes.

A very wet, but mild and calm, evening. MB HH ODF in an unmarked Meer with replacement acrylic stem. 
It's been well above average temps for many weeks, so the roses can't figure out whether it's Spring or Autumn.
Black tea - Taylors of Harrogate Scottish Breakfast
Edit to add: I guess I spoke too soon. Wind has picked up, bringing in cold air.
Temps are dropping like a rock. 
Will freeze tonight. 
Poor confused roses.
