Enjoyed a little low calorie snacking and am smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. The outdoor ferals have come in and out twice. Everybody managed to eat well. Before that, I heard Harry the Hairy howling loudly. When I opened the door, I saw him and Tomato the Brave staring at one of the heated cat houses. I think the sound of my opening the door scared what was inside it: a raccoon. It ran away before I could close the door. Never seen one in a house before. Tomato and Harry always run from or avoid raccoons so I was surprised that this time they stood up to one. Guess going into a cat house was one step too far for them.

Tomato the Brave took it well. Here's our pal yawning at me like, "T'was nothing to be scared about, pilgrim."

Now smoking first production Watch City English Ernie-ental in a straight dark brown and tan rusticated Peterson 2023 Saint Patrick’s Day 264 Canadian with an Irish flag colored ferrule and tapered black acrylic stem. Just fed all the cats. All the ferals are in except for Daisy the Feral Princess who just went out after being inside out of the cold. She'll be back soon. I'm going to clean a few pipes now.

Enjoyed a tasty Snap Dragon apple, and am part way through this bowl of year 2012 E-soterica Dorchester in a straight smooth brown 1920s KBB Rocky Briar 1582 patent no.298978 with a B in a circle bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. It's time for Tomato the Brave and Daisy the Feral Princess to have their wet food.

I cracked open this Per G. Jensen tin this morning. This is a new blend to me. I'm smoking it in a rusticated Savinelli Roma 626 KS. It's very much an earthy blend and the spicey Perique and fire cured dominate. Love the voluminous, thick smokiness. It burns cool and requires few relights. 1000015281.jpg
