Passing the half way mark of this bowl of Watch City Jim’s Golden Ticket in a straight smooth brown mid-late 60s Corporate Era Barling 5579 London England (made by Charatan) lumberman with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. Tomato the Brave came in to eat, got some attention from yours truly, and went out. Daisy the Feral Princess came in and is lying by my feet. Molly Danger came out and hissed Norton the Nosey twice. Considering how fast and often Norton goes from place to place I wonder if he has a twin.

Casa Grande, AZ
GH&Co Black Cherry a twist with a little SG Kendal Plug mixed in in the 132 Deluxe while I froze my arse off last night.

I threw in the towel and headed home this evening, put 5 miles on my boots today still hunting and saw zero tracks/fresh scat. Unit 22 in AZ is some rough terrain, and I’m no wilderness athlete.
Misty morning in an area that was a wildfire burn last year.

Now smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a late '80s, early 90s small bend medium brown smooth, unbranded Nording pot with a couple of small rusticated spots, an amber colored acrylic ferrule and tapered stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Daisy the Feral Princess was hungry and while getting a plate of wet food ready for her, Norton the Nosey showed up by my feet. I have noticed that every time m'lady or I feed a cat, he shows up for wet food. I guess being unfed and abandoned has had a serious effect on his appetite because he eats a lot. Goes to the little box a lot, too. Anyway, after Daisy ate, he finished what little she left, ate what I gave him, and wanted more. When he came to the den after eating, Daisy gave him the "royal hiss" of the Imperial Feral Princess and Norton went back to the kitchen until she laid down for a snooze. I'll check on the other two after I post this smoke.

Now smoking Ken Byron Ventures Mr. Christian’s Brown Flek 2021 in a smooth brown full bend 1984 Peterson Mark Twain military mount egg with a silver cap and tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Tomato the Brave came in to eat, and he did well for himself. Because of this, I had to feed Norton the Nosey again, but I gave him less than usual, and he didn't quite finish that. Maybe he likes company when he eats? Molly Danger kept an eye on them, and when Tomato tried to leave the kitchen, he was afraid of Molly. I intervened and Tomato ran for the back door. Daisy the Feral Princess was getting the Molly Danger stare, too, so she decided to follow Tomato out. I brought Norton to the den and Molly went to the kitchen for a few bites of dry food. Harry the Hairy was smarter than the rest: he ate and ran out as soon as he could. Sleepy Suzy snoozed through the entire affair.

Enjoyed a little low calorie snacking, and am smoking year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Friend in a pre-1980s straight dark brown Comoy's Sandblast 186 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Typing with one finger since Sleepy Suzy has her left leg over my left arm as she gives me a bath. She knows how to save money on our water bills.

Near the first third of this bowl of year 2016 D&R Two Timer Gold in a 1982 smooth straight Sasieni Ivory 105 Apple with a black vulcanite saddle stem. This was my first Sasieni. Bought it at my local Tinderbox for $9.95. I'll try to end the day with this smoke. Only let two ferals in to eat because Harry the Hairy isn't here. Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave ate their wet food as did Norton the Nosey. Tomato is enjoying play time with a catnip sock. Daisy is lying by my feet. Norton is lying near Tomato hoping for some play time. They play fought early today before I was awake according to m'lady. She said they seemed to like it.
