I really enjoy Italian Kentucky — it has that drier, leathier profile, not as sweet or smoky as the American leaf. And Toscano cigars are made entirely from Italian Kentucky, which gives them that unmistakably bold character. Really hits the spot for me.
P.S. May my fellow fans of American Kentucky forgive me.😉

I'm from West TN, I'm aware that the Toscano and other Kentucky Cherutes we can get here use an Italian wrapper with a blend of American DFK in them. A good bit of which comes from middle TN. I plan to visit Italy in the coming years and hope to come back with a suitcase full of what you've got there. In the meantime, it's nice enjoying Italian leaf blended with filler from my home state 😋

Half way through this bowl of year 2017 Esoterica Dorchester in a straight smooth dark brown octagonal paneled mid-60s-early 70s Corporate Era Barling 4945 London England T.V.F. billiard with a square shank and black tapered square stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. Norton the Nosey took a snooze on my lap, and then bathed himself before wanting to eat.

A small correction to my post. Toscano Piccolo (60% Italian, 30% American). Then you should consider Toscano Classico Vintage (100% Italian).

Good morning all you cool kats and kittens. Been very busy the last day or so as I am taking a long weekend. Had a bowl of Sherlock Holmes for breakfast yesterday morning and then some Boson Plug for the afternoon before trying snuff for the first time last night, which I find to be pretty enjoyable.

This morning I'm having a bowl of Uhles Blend 44 in a Brebbia ‘1960’ Nera Sabbiatta bent bulldog with a cup of Torke coffee. IMG_4175.jpeg

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. My buddy John had cataract surgery and we brought him over here to see Norton the Nosey. Fed Sleepy Suzy, Molly Danger, and Harry the Hairy. The other two will eat soon.
