Sutliff Match ERR in an Ambassador bent bulldog. This pipe's stem has a vulcanite tenon that is screwed into the stem. Sometimes I pull it and everything comes out, but sometimes, I unscrew it and it reveals a threaded metal sleeve. The pipes stummel is really nice. The crown is a full 360 of straight grain and its lines are crisp and clean. The problem I have with this pipe is its stem. The button is very slim, and the tenon is kind of funky.

Half way through this bowl of year 2017 Esoterica Dorchester in a straight smooth dark brown octagonal paneled mid-60s-early 70s Corporate Era Barling 4945 London England T.V.F. billiard with a square shank and black tapered square stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. Norton the Nosey took a snooze on my lap, and then bathed himself before wanting to eat.

Last smoke of the day is year 2020 Angler's Dream in a 2018 natural smooth medium bend Peterson 03 apple silver spigot military mount with a tapered black acrylic fish tail stem. Norton the Nosey was batting around little pieces of dry food in the kitchen and knocked over the water dish. That's the second time he's done that in two days. Tomato the Brave came in for his wet food. I had hold and love on Norton to keep him from bugging Tomato. I let him go after Tomato ate, and the two touched noses. Tomato didn't hiss, but I saw his mouth was open, so he was signaling Norton to go away, which he did. Tomato got some attention from me and then laid in the cardboard box bathing himself for a few minutes. Norton was lying on the floor just over a foot away watching. Tomato got up and came to me for a head scratch and went out. Norton took his place in the box.

Smoking Luciano Virgin Sandblast Chubby Dublin (GL Pease / Di Piazza Design, 2014) with GL Pease Samarra — a beautifully balanced English blend of Virginias, Latakia, Orientals and a touch of Perique. Nuanced, structured, nothing heavy-handed. Fully approved.
Brewed an 18-year-old pu-erh… the mood is decidedly philosophical tonight.

That’s exactly why I appreciate Italian masters — their unconventional shapes and the refined, creative approach they bring to their pipes.👍🏻

Thank you, it is true that Italian pipe makers are craftsmen who offer many advantages in their work, namely the quality of the briar and the beauty of the tool, the only fault I could find on an Italian pipe is often due to the weight it can have on Freehand models.

Especially Costello, they can be used as a self-defense item.

Toscano Classico in my Nautilus, coffee, Black Clover and a nice sunrise. It's going to be a good day!

I really enjoy Italian Kentucky — it has that drier, leathier profile, not as sweet or smoky as the American leaf. And Toscano cigars are made entirely from Italian Kentucky, which gives them that unmistakably bold character. Really hits the spot for me.
P.S. May my fellow fans of American Kentucky forgive me.😉
