Started the day with some C&D Exclusive in a three star Lee saddle stem. Calling in a professional, as what you may or may not be able to see is tons of bees that took up residence under the house in the dog/bbq area in the past couple days.

Now figuring out a WiFi camera for the mare motel/foaling pen.
A pocketful of my Dark Sails and the Ropp J11 get to companion the project.

Near the half way mark of this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the cats. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Interesting photo prop under the pipe . . . . same material obviously (?). The pipe is stunning - especially for a rusticated finish. Hit me right away - sometimes only something "classic" fits the mood, eh? Fit's mine today, Paul. Get's the "Kewpie Doll" of the day. :) 👍👍

Briar Fox in a Jirsa 210. I'm trying to limit smoking blends with Perique because of gum irritation. I really like Perique but have been smoking almost exclusivly Perique heavy tobaccos.
Perique, like Latakia, is one of those gems that from a constituent perspective, can give a tobacco great character and individuality. Big fan of the stuff!

Started the day with gusty winds and temps in the mid 30s. Warming up nicely this afternoon! Cellar in this Savinelli Eleganza 310KS. Iced tea. Nice to recharge in warm sunshine! Weatherman says back to normal tomorrow. Lows in the high 50s highs in the high 70s. That’s more like it!!

Hmmmmm . . . I seem to be drifting from my somewhat jaundiced view of colored stems. I'm a lot more conservative in this regard. Probably from my knowledge of violins and classic wood and proportions. Whatever the case, this is a pipe that makes the blue stem work. Maybe a combination of the rustication here, and the blue band on the silver mount. I like it, Bob!
