The ferals wanted in, but when I opened the door for them, Norton the Nosey got in front of me. He's been wanting out a lot, and that's not going to happen. Anyway, the ferals all backed off because they don't want to be near Norton. I picked Norton up, and put him on m'lady's chair. Daisy the Feral Princess decided not to come in. Tomato the Brave and Harry the Hairy came in, but only Harry ate. Tomato wanted to, but I think his nerves were out of sorts because of Norton, who decided to come to the kitchen. Tomato wanted out right away. Harry nibbled a little, but Norton kept following him. The skinny fella is trying hard to make friends, and he's made a very small advancement with Harry. But, after a few minutes, Harry had enough of him and went out.

I visit Tucher-Bräu in Nuremberg many times a year since I’m there monthly for work. Great brewery, but I’ve not had their festbier. Interesting that this is imported to the US, I didn’t know any of their beers were distributed outside of Germany. Prost! 🍻

Listing this a few minutes early: year 2012 Dunhill Flake in a straight smooth dark brown Algerian briar 1916 Barling The Hunt with beautiful silver work and a black vulcanite saddle stem with an orific bit. It's near time for Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave to have their wet food.

I'm considering trying John Aylesbury tobaccos—overall, the reviews seem positive, but they all appear to be heavily aromatized, which is putting me off a bit. How are these tobaccos in general?
I can only speak for Sir John's and Classic Flake. There's a bit of topping on Sir John's but not too heavy, at least to me. And I'm not a fan of goopy aromatics in the least. Classic Flake has very little topping
