A quarter of the way through this bowl of C&D Watson (Wintertime Reserve 2025) in a 2002 IMP smooth full bend egg shaped meer with a black acrylic saddle stem. Working on a review of this blend. Norton the Nosey has followed me everywhere inside. Any time when m'lady or I get up and go around the house, Norton follows us even if he was snoozin' when we move around. That's one nosy cat for certain, but he's so attentive that you have love it. We've had other cats do the same, but it's been a while so it seems brand new. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Next up in my Peretti sampling is Coffee Blend, in the MM Country Gentleman. (I finished the entire bowl while going through the latest posts.)

Wow, I really, really liked that. Not at all sweet, excellent flavor & aroma, burned beautifully cool & dry. I have a feeling it'll mix nicely with the Dutch Chocolate. That was a very enjoyable smoke on a gorgeous afternoon. ☀️

☕ ⭐ Gold Star Papua New Guinea, cream/no sugar.

Never tried it, does it taste like coffee?
It's an excellent question, and one that I semi-intentionally did not address in my comment. If you'd given me this to smoke with no info, I don't think I would have said Coffee. So in that sense ... no. BUT, knowing that it's called Coffee Blend, maybe it does (?). I'm a daily coffee drinker, too. It's really smooth, really pleasant, but it still tastes like tobacco, so it's not heavily flavored but any means. I wish I could give you a better answer ... I definitely recommend trying it! Let me know if you do.

Now smoking year 2014 Esoterica Tilbury in a straight smooth Danish gold straight grain undated W.O. Larsen Hand Made in Denmark dublin with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. Going to edit my reviews of the C&D Wintertime blends later. Just going to relax for now with Sleepy Suzy by my side.

That is an insanely cool looking morta, Goblin! 😻
Hey thanks man! I was very surprised by how good looking it is. There was only one picture of it on SP, I had no idea the shank was flared out like that until I took it out of the package 😂 Once I took a close look, I started to really appreciate how much attention went into the stem. It’s hard to see from my photos, but in addition to the facets, the carver actually rusticated the stem to emulate the grain of the morta.
This was the picture on smokingpipes, I thought this pipe was going to have a very boilerplate shank, a very pleasant surprise indeedIMG_8189.jpeg
