Tonight I’m smoking escudo in my Laurent Handmade, I liked this one so much I decided to keep it instead of selling it. So, I’ll have a little bourbon and break this pipe in. View attachment 264888View attachment 264890
I know you do some woodwork. Did you make the pipe yourself? If so, did you use one of those hobby blocks with a stem?

I ask because it looks really nice. There was another member who used to make some nice pipes for himself. I can't remember his name (gentleman with a grayish beard, so my description doesn't help) and haven't seen a post in quite awhile.

Awesome to see that stem holding up well!! I'm so curious about that blend! Definitely have it on the list!
I have no doubts about the stem holding up. I have various markers (orienteering control points) printed in same material that have been mounted outside on posts, trees, etc for 3 years now--no fading or disintegration. Other applications on boats, cars, plumbing, antennas, camping gear, tarp clamps... Pipe stem is light duty for PETG. puffy

Yes I make all my pipes free hand, stem and all. I still make the pipe racks but took a break while I waited for my die cutting tool to be made for the leather parts, it was killing my hands to hand cut all those.
