I dunno, but on an early episode of the PM radio show there was a guy from Alaska that had his briar bowl crack. It was from the shock of going outside.

Never had it happen to me, but ever since then I'll set my pipe aside if it's -20°F out and I'm letting the hounds out quick or taking the trash down.
Damn! Thanks buddy! I'll have to watch it then when the real winter starts hitting lol. Maybe I should invest in some cobs for the winter lol ( definitely not PAD or anything) 😆

I enjoy 22 from what I hear alot of folks dont care for it

I think overall it was well received. Va/Per fans seemed to like it. Maybe older years were just more liked? Not sure. I bought half dozen tins or so. Smoking this tin and if I finish it before Xmas I will crack a 21 I have. Put some time on the other tins.

What are the, uh, proportions?

*I do seriously want to know. Have both 1Q and blending Lat on hand, and interest in smoking either is near zero.

The batch I have was put together by a friend, and I don't recall what ratio it was of each. In looking for some info, I found that this batch has a blending Latakia and Lane BCA instead of 1Q. Which makes sense, because my batch is all dark tobaccos and no golds like 1Q has. I think it was a 1 to 1 ratio, but I can't verify that. The original blender was Joffre the Giant from YT, and I don't recall what his ratio was but I'm pretty sure his blend had 1Q and blending Latakia. I guess if you have both on hand just start with small samples of different ratios and find out what tastes best to you.

Finished work a little earlier than I wanted to, but feral drama took longer than expected, and I figure I'll relax for a change, and watch an old Gene Autry movie on FMC. Nice and simply entertainment is all I need for now. Have about a third of a bowl left of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
