Still working, and have passed the half way mark on this bowl of Watch City Queequeg’s Moby Dick Series in a slight bend smooth brown post WWII 1940s Sasieni Ivory 101 Westminster diplomat with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

Lost some work time dealing the Feral Cat Carousel a few hours back. Everybody except for Shy Stripesy was here even though it was raining lightly. I had to let Daisy the Feral Princess in to eat so she wouldn't bother Abner the Eager. Then, Tomato the Brave decided Abner shouldn't eat in his territory, so I had to let him in the house, too. Once I fed Abner, Sam the Scamp showed up. I picked him up, went inside the house and out the front door to feed Sam so nobody would bother him. Then, Daisy wanted out because she wanted chase Abner and Sam away (hardly the first time she's had that attitude), and had to block her from going out. She went back to the kitchen, and Tomato gave her the "You can wait until I finish eating, Miss Prima Donna" look, even though he had finished eating. I had to keep both inside until Abner and Sam ate or risk them getting chased off. I guess neither rain nor sleet nor snow will stop self-entitled ferals from their appointed rounds. :)

Winding down with some green tea for a change and Erinmore mixture in my Brigham. Was surprised to learn this pipe is Italian, I was sure it is older than that.

Brigham Voyageur 129.JPG
Looked further into Brigham's manufacturing history and my Voyageur would most certainly follow their manufacturing profile at the time, Italian. The simplest identifying characteristic of a Canadian Brigham is an aluminum tenon. Never stop learning.

Thanks. At my age, I figured it was time to be one. :)

Kidding aside, I go through those things with the ferals several times a day. I just don't post most of them because it gets repetitive, and I try to use the best stories. If they are funny, it's even better. I would say that those cats are sweet and precious, and whoever owns Abner the Eager (the only one not fixed) and Sam the Scamp should take better care of them. Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave were disowned by my neighbors a couple of houses away because of the despicable "man" of the house. I wish I could find a good home for them even though m'lady and I would greatly miss them.

Our cats, Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger do not like other cats. We don't let them go outside. If they would get along with Daisy and Tomato, we would take them in faster than you could blink my eyes.

Trying out KBV Diogenes Club in my Piersel Dublin. This arrived today along with Dark Fired Cherry and Burley Morning Pipe, which I will presently assay in my Ropp tavern. Now Mycroft and Deep House are in the mail to me. I'm really digging these Ken Byron offerings these days, even if they are made out of apple cores and Chinese newspapers.

Afternoon bowl of Telegraph Hill whilst my Kelpies rest from the days work. I find myself smoking a lot of this blend and it has a really delicious taste that I love, bonus that is ribbon cut too, no prep, just stuff it in and smoke it to the bottom.
Pipe is a Castello #33 virgin that's morphing with each smoke.

Hey @VDL_Piper!

I love your new avatar. Telegraph Hill is possibly the best VaPer out there. I bought an 8 oz tin of it in 2017 and waited until last year to open it. I can't think of a VaPer that tastes better and is so balanced and easy to smoke.

I Googled Kelpies and Wikipedia says:

"A kelpie[...]is a shape-shifting spirit inhabiting lochs in Irish and Scottish folklore. It is usually described as a black horse-like creature, able to adopt human form."

You've got some cool fauna there in Oz boy.
