2017 MacBaren HH Acadian Perique in my Scottie.

This blend contains "Burley, Cavendish, Kentucky, Oriental/Turkish, Perique, Virginia". I find it to be pretty unique and am hard pressed for what to compare it to. Maybe D&R Picayune?

I never was able to smoke much of this when I first opened it in 2017. I found it a little harsh. (Same as Picayune!) At 6 years in a jar it's pretty sublime. It's got a lot of complexity, and good burley flavour, and it has a subtle persistent sweetness on the tongue, and no rough edges to it at all. I wish I'd stocked up on this one when it was still in production. (Same as Picayune!)

Coniston Cut Plug in a clay. Gets the fire going once it's lit; I find dark baccy harder to light. Maybe it would light easier with a blacksmith's ember

Elizabethan Mixture in a Savinelli Mega 121 & coffee.

@redglow The Clay King enjoyed his clay pipe of Elizabethan Mixture at last year's Nottingham Pipe Show; smoked a clay bowl in memory of the departed Queen Elizabeth II.

Beautiful birdseye on the rim of this pipe. The scuplting on it is a nice balance to the stem flare.

Thank you. I like the way this pipe smokes and should have it out more often.

Its cheapo pipe day again from my Box-O-Pipes. This one is a second from someone with the name "Country" written on it. No country of origin. Has a couple of fills but so what. I sanded, stained and buffed it up. Im getting ready to smoke some Tripple Play in it.
