Part way through this bowl of Prince Albert in a 2020 smooth light brown, slight bent J. Everett straight grain chubby author with a spalted birch ferrule and a black saddle vulcanite stem in the military mount style. This pipe maker really does a good job, and his prices are reasonable.

During a lively episode of our "Brady Bunch" Zoom on Saturday afternoon, I smoked 2014 McClelland's No. 24, in a nicely grained Savinelli apple, made for the Gift and Tobacco Emporium, a pipe shop of yore in Skokie, Illinois. This shop was run by Harry Yablon, and was the "hang-out" of many North Side members of the Chicago Pipe Collectors Club, back in the day.

Later in the evening I attended the monthly meeting of the CPCC, via ZOOM. We elected new officers and spoke of the 2021 Show. As of now, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, plans have not been finalized. The Club will inform the community when more definite details are available.
During the meeting I smoked Wilke 515 in a 1960s Big Ben Commodore 426.

One for @bnichols23. Edwards Pipe & Tobacco Sweet Virginia in a late 60’s-early 70’s Preben Holm “Hand Cut” Freehand Sitter with a 1 encircled. When I received this pipe from the original owner, it had been smoked to the point that you couldn’t get the scoop end of a nail tamper down into the chamber. There was so much cake and lava on the top of the rim that I couldn’t see the plateau. She was in sad shape. That was almost 20 years ago, but look at her today.
