As a southern Texas I know what you mean. We're accustomed to 110+ heat index with humidity up the wazoo. Whenever it gets bellow freezing here its like the apocalypse. Every business shuts dows, schools closed. Everyone here usually drives 20 mph over the speed limit, suddenly go 20 mph under it... When it gets cold here its like the sky is falling. I see people dressed like eskimos when it gets bellow 60 lmao. It cracks me up

Yeah, I’m ruined too. Lived in Florida/SE Georgia (other than military induced side trips) for the last 35 yrs. when it drops below 50, I dress like that kid on A Christmas Story (“ I can’t put my arms down”)
