Escudo in a Jobey Dansk, Half Moon Egg Freehand #2 with a Cherry Red finish and classic danish style, ornate military stem. I dug this ole gal out of the closet and gave her a necessary cleaning, and now she’s ready to go. It was the Danish freehand style that attracted me to pipes in the first place, and although my tastes have changed, I feel it’s time to give these beautiful instruments another go.780778087809

I just realized after talking to my wife about my choice of pipes today, that I haven’t smoked this particular pipe in 12 years! And she is a glorious smoker. Going on hour two with the same bowl...clenching all the way. Sipping Escudo is the best, and it’s even better with an old friend.

Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Up a bit early, but I was helping out a neighbor, and didn't get a chance to smoke until now.
