I have just finished a wonderful bowl of G&H Coniston cut plug in a meerschaum 'cutty' and I am pondering smoking a bowl of Warrior-Condor plug as I ponder which pipe to use from my rotation. So many 'cutty' pipes in the December rotation and so little time. What it is to have first world problems

About a third of a bowl left of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. The sun is out, finally. Going to do some walking before long.

Just had half a bowl of Anniversary Kake in my Old Royal sandblasted Canadian. Couldn't finish the bowl, sadly. Even though this Canadian's bowl is smaller than my Brigham Canadian, it appears to be still a 1-hour smoker.
Soon to pack a bowl of red Rapparee in a sevndborg nose warmer. I'll probably smoke it this afternoon.

How do those Nording 'filters' work?
They are easy to use. Based on the size of the bowl you just put one or two stones in and pack as usual. When the bowl is done dispose of the stones. They are made of clay. I haven't had any draw issues yet
