Blasted panels with a square shank/tapered stem & button? Not too shabby, Harris!

Just finished smoking Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem.

Going to run a few errands, and one of the blends I'm taking with me is Jim’s C Blend in an early smooth Radice Tiger Eye G medium bend bulldog with a bamboo-style carving on the shank and a black acrylic stem.

Trying out the latest batch of C&D’s Carolina Red Flake in a Thermofilter beater billiard that smokes much better than its pedigree would suggest.

It’s amazing to me that they were able to squeeze such a variety of flavors from a single leaf. I’ll gorge myself on this tin and save the rest for much later.

Home again, and am now smoking 1970s Hickey & Nicholson Classic Reserve in a 1975 medium bend sandblasted looking, smooth on the sides yellow Pioneer meer with a black vulcanite stem. Ice tea and bergs is my drink.

Today I enjoyed some Popular Camp from when C&D submitted this blend for the Virginia Blend contest at the Chicago PIpe Show a few years ago. I used my Christian Pipe Smoker's 2016 Pipe of the Year. It was from Dr Graybow. They wanted a pipe that everyone could afford.
It was in the teens two days ago, so we still had some snow on the ground. It was much warmer now. It was an enjoyable smoke, after replacing my battery. I didn't know that a battery could freeze if it was fully drained. Glad the battery was only a couple months old, so they replaced it on warranty.

Part way through this bowl of year 2006 Solani 633 in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my evening drink.
