Every time you post this pipe, I find myself googling some beautiful IMPs and talking myself out of the spend. Truly, a beautiful pipe you have there, friend!
Thanks. Keep an eye open for what you want as far as style & size and go for it. An IMP will be a great pipe regardless. They’re several on here and these folks caused me to get one😀 Then another 😂 jokes aside I’m glad I took their advice.
Edit: see what I mean! Just look ⬆️ up at those.

Busy today, but now off until after Thanksgiving.
Drive to and from work was Ryback in the Briarlee Illustrious.
At work was Match Victorian, Dark Sails, and The Royal Yacht in the Sportsman 87.
Now it’s feeding time under a full moon, then getting gear together for a little rant time in the morning.

If that one colors as well as the other I quit 😂
I very, very highly doubt that it will but who knows. I exclusively smoked that smooth tekin for a little over 6 months, and ran around 500 bowls through it over that time. I just got lucky with the piece of meerschaum. I haven’t been smoking it quite as much lately, but it still has around (pretty rough estimate at this point) 650 bowls through it. I should post an update in the coloring thread I have for that pipe.

Seems like this month (WAYS Nov 2024?), there are even more cob pics than Oct. :)
I usually have 1 cob plus couple briars (and maybe a meer) in my weekly rotation. Smoke each one several times before good cleaning, then return all to the racks. Oct was a little different, kept 3 cobs around. Now back to 1 for Nov, a MM Washington (bent), my only cob with a Rob Roy bowl. Loaded with PEGASUS, this is a nice fit.

I bought and read the Spheres: Pipe Smokers gazette from SP.com and firstly found it to be really fascinating and quality reading. One of the articles was on Belgium Semois tobacco. This led me to purchase a brick of Vincent Manil Reserve du Patron and Le Petit Robin. I tried the former this evening and was really surprised. To me it was the pipe equivalent of smoking one of the finest cigars I've ever had. It was like Burley squared. Chocolatey, nutty, tobacco-forward. Unlike any other pipe blend I've had to date. I can't wait to try Le Petit Robin, which (unlike the Reserve) has been blended with Virginias and such. A very unique pipe tobacco experience.

It is very dry and burns hot, so benefits from slow sipping.

I enjoyed this in my Peterson Irish Harp bent bulldog. The exposure was affected by the fact that I was in almost complete darkness enjoying the Autumn evening in my atrium.

Happy smokes all.
