Earlier it was Paul Olsen St. Croix in The Reject for the walk to the village War Memorial and the 2 minute silence for Remembrance Sunday. All of the males in some village families were killed in either the Great War and the Second World War and some families lost men in both conflicts. Both of my grandfathers were killed fighting in WW2.
