Now smoking Wilke No. 72 in a pre-1974 dark brown straight Larus & Brother Co. Signature billiard with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite stem with the initials LCR on the top of the stem. This blend was smoked by Walter Cronkite.

Finished work early, and have about a third of a bowl left of 2021 Watch City Simply Orange Virginia in a black sandblast medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY 4AB No. 182/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is the first small batch test version, which will be the same as the final release in mid-May. Going to feed the ferals and then read baseball box scores.

Half way through this bowl of Wilke No. 515 in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This was the blend Basil Rathbone smoked. I'll end the day with this smoke.

Good morning gents... beginning the day off with a cup of Iron Bean Coffee and a bowl of Three Nuns in a Peterson 106 Phoenix.

Afternoon/morning everyone, I just received some Spark Plug in the mail and smoked it in the Dr Grabow Commodore Dublin, my first impressions are very favourable. I’m currently smoking John Cotton DP Burley in a MM Marcus and thoroughly enjoying it with some coffee.
I just got my meat grinder/sausage maker delivered and I’ll be making North African Merguez spicy lamb sausage later, I haven’t had one in about 40 years. I brought this machine solely for the purpose of making them, although I’ll probably be doing some air dried Italian/French/Spanish style sausage too. And good ole British Bangers of course.

After-lunch bowl of Meistermischung 88 in a Ropp Vintage. I didn't much like this pipe when I got it. The angle of the stem doesn't meet the stummel perfectly and the blasting is nothing to write home about. The button is very small and thus there are difficulties in clenching. But it smokes excellently, and that's all that matters sometimes.
