Peaty Kentucky in Peterson Kapp Royal 408. GEC86. Didn't dry the tobacco. Stacked them, taco'ed them, worked them and stuffed them. Took my younger one to his AP test, came home to wait and smoke. Should have dried it. Few relights, little rough spots but wasn't too bad. Just wasn't great.

GL Pease Stonehenge Flake in a MM Cob. After several bowls found I've been expecting a bit more from this flake based on those TR reviews; the tobacco is young so will keep trying.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Mac Baren Scottish Mixture in a straight, smooth brown 1960s Lane era Charatan Special 38 bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem.

A bowl of Sutliff Match 965 in a Blakemar Briars Matador. This is a flavoursome and long smoking blend. Having to take shelter from the rain, hopefully the weather will start to become like summer.

PS Luxury Bullseye Flake, well dried and aged, in a Ropp Etudante, smooth bent poker. We're having a whip cracking thunder storm here, bolts overhead. Guess I'll get off the 'puter and just smoke.

SG Balkan Flake in a Flemming Lovat. Only my second bowl with this pipe but I’m really enjoying it. Smokes well, clenches really easily and might be making its way to being one of my favourites.

Sat out under the gazebo in the 87° Chicago heat, but with an occasional refreshing breeze, smoking Molto Dolce in a Chamersburg Pipe Works Morta poker, with a bamboo shank and a saddle stem.
