Nice,
This is just the sort of pipe I aspire to own when I grow up.

Thanks for the compliments! It's a good skmoker for burley blends and I assume it must be from the 70ies or early 80ies. It was actually a steal which I bought with a lot of estate pipes. If you're interested, here are photos from the cleanup process:

Great job - super nice pipe
Thanks for sharing!
Using an electric toothbrush on the rim was a great idea

Just finished a bowl of Dan Mellow Mallard from a sample kindly sent by a fellow member, in a Falcon with a full size bulldog bowl. I’m impressed, although I might have gone at it a bit hard I found a nice spiciness to it, sort of sweet and sour at the same time and a bit malty, although that could be the Adnams Broadside I’m drinking.
Moving on to something sweeter now with Maple Street in li’l Lovat I got this morning.

I had a good afternoon nap, so now I am ready for a longer/later than usual night. Peterson 1865 in the Falcon with the new twisted stem. Alcohol free beer and lemonade mix for drinking. Listening to "Lankum", a modern-traditional Irish band. If you like the Irish Folk genre, they are very very good. Earlier today, while attending a not so interesting teleconference, I made a sketch on the paper... don't tell my employer...

St. James Flake in a Stanwell Rondo billiard.

I recently smoked some 16 year old Laurel Flake and loved it. So, I bought a pound of 2020 St. James Flake from a member. I’ve pulled out 2 oz to smoke and put the rest away. But, I am thoroughly enjoying it newish.
