While chatting with all my ZOOM buddies today, I smoked a Frank Trade Mark pipe with a Red Bakelite stem, attached with a bone screw, and gold-toned metal cap and ferule, designed with a playing card motif.
This pipe was my father's, and is from the 1940s. I have never smoked it before, and so it hasn't been smoke in more than 60 years. I filled it with Samovar. What an incredibly smooth, cool, and dry smoke!
It was great to share this experience with my friends.

More snackin', more smokin'. Half way through this bowl of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Watching Quick Pitch on the MLB newtwork.

WCC Old Dominion in a WDC Milano Patent Canted Billiard. ~ late 1920’s, smoked a handful of times before I got it. Fabulous pipe.
