G.L. Pease 3 Oaks Syrian in my Rick Boquist (Rusty Nails Briar) commission pipe.

If that stem were an inch/inch-and-a-half longer and with a slightly more pronounced bend I'd say that pipe would be even more perfect.

Love the contrast on the stem, is it horn ?
Happy smokes

The Dunhill stem is called brindled vulcanite and is apparently available in six limited edition colours introduced in 2020 and looks to be related to the Cumberland stem.
(The name "Cumberland" derives from the fact that the finish was inspired by old Root Briar pipes found in a warehouse in London in Cumberland Road)

... and is maybe the same material used here?

When horn has markings they tends to be more random and less regular such as on this Dunhill with horn stem from 2006 ...

... and this one from 2002

Opened a tin of year 2014 Astley’s No. 44, and am smoking it in a smooth slight bend dark brown 1940s-1950s Comoy’s Blue Riband 228C prince with a tapered black vulcanite stem. First time smoking this new-to-me estate pipe. I've wanted a Blue Riband for a long time, and I am lucky to own it. I'm a quarter of the way through the bowl.

Chicago
Just finished a Chicago Pipe Club meeting (I was on ZOOM, all the others were at the Arlington Pipe & Cigar Lounge).
Earlier this afternoon I met with all my Saturday ZOOM friends, and popped a tin of 2015 Samovar to fill my 2000 Peterson Sherlock Holmes Smooth Red Strand.
The hot and humid weather called for my usual Peach/Mango Green Tea with lotsa bergs and a splash of Honey Jack.

Watch City Simply VOriental in a Bertram 120. 6 months in a jar has been extremely kind to this blend. Liked it fresh but LOVE it now. Anyhow, it’s a lovely evening on the deck with perfect weather, a cold beer in hand, good tunes, and a 3 day weekend at the beach ahead. Life is good!

That's good to hear I'm looking forward to this blend with some more age and melding!

hi, no on my pipe it is not horn, it is an acrylic similar horn.

In fact, I personally do not like the horn in the mouthpieces, I have only had two pipes with horn mouthpieces and they did not last long, I got rid of them immediately, I do not find it pleasant, the first one I had, even gave a very strong taste to the smoke when the tobacco was already a little hot.
