Do you get Grackles in your area? They’re my favourite bird along with the Corvids. I used to have a crow named Barry.Very cold today, so I'm trying some of this Sutliff Balkan Sobranie Match mix from SP.com in my Savinelli Miele 611 KS bent dublin. Will be birdwatching too, of course, although I probably won't do better than the Baltimore oriole I saw this morning. I've been told I make George Carlin look like an optimist. ?
I’m smoking C&D Yorktown in a Blakemar Aristocrat Sir Douglas stubby lovat. I go back and forth as to which is better to me, Derringer or Yorktown. Both blends are enormously satisfying and offer slightly differing perspectives on VIRGINIA tobacco. High notes vs mid range flavors and aromas. They both have their place in my pantheon of tobaccos, and should be at the top of my list for cellaring in quantity before deeming sets in. I might try a 50/50 mix! Any opinions?
Hell yes!I’ve yet to try the Derringer but I love the Yorktown, I just got some Opening Night today and that’s another great Va imo and I suggest you give it a try.
Deeming sounds ominous, are you telling me I should start seriously stocking up on American blends before The Purge commences?
Grackles are rare here. Closest we get here in the mountains is the Brewer's Blackbird, and lots of them come summertime. Crows and ravens are also abundant here, at all times of year.Do you get Grackles in your area? They’re my favourite bird along with the Corvids. I used to have a crow named Barry.
