I'm smoking some Private Stock blended with Chatham. I'd had a bowl of Captain Earl's PS earlier and it was like smoking a cigar, albeit a nice one....but kinda strong first thing in the a.m.....in a Gent.
Now smoking D&R London Dock in a smooth medium bend straight grain 2001 Karl Erik Ekstravagant brandy with a leaf engraved silver band. A bottle of Sprite is my drink on this rainy day.
Just finished a bowl of my straight burley in a Peterson Aran 80s. Beginning to develop a good cake and using Baron samedi's advice on tamping has made all the difference in the world for me. The full bowl smoked down to a fine ash without one re-light and tasted quite sublime. Earthy and nutty with hints of sweetness and mint.
