Acadian Perique in a Gabrieli bulldog to celebrate the first night in our new home. It survived German bombs in WWII when they attacked Tilbury Docks (the house across the road was flattened by a bloody great bomb) but I'm not sure how it will cope with my tribe! We've downsized in an attempt to get the remaining two 'children' to move out, but despite all the stuff we've given away, we've still got far too much for this house. Yet more has to go. The wife's brand new sofas won't fit in and the new curtains are the wrong size. Meanwhile, the garage conversion I stupidly agreed that #2 son could do with his builder mates is about 500% of budget and hasn't moved beyond the demolition stage. But apart from all that everything's fine!
