Enjoying Uhle's "Blend 114" in my Barling's Make Apple, with the nomenclature of "J.J. Fox & Co., London," the tobacco shop on St. James where Churchill bought his cigars for close to 50 years. I visited that shop a few years ago. All I remember was a rather frumpy shop with the cheapest Cuban cigar at $40 some dollars. The web site today shows an interior that must have been freshened up since I last visited.

This morning before work I set out some SG Best Brown Flakes to dry. 8 hours later I put them in my meerschaum and they smoke wonderfully. After the first 3rd or so of the bowl a little moisture from the burn built up and the cube cut tobacco has developed an nice sweet taste. Good stuff!
