Glad this came with a story. If it was just the pics, I’d have assumed that your pipe fell in, and you went in after it!A good sized smoke of GLP Navigator in the Sportsman 87 for the drive home today.
Jacked my back/hip up a bit yesterday wrestling a steel grate, I probably should’ve called my crew for some help, but pain is just weakness leaving the body

And the specific type of glass is a snifter. Brandy glass is correct, too, but I just think “snifter” is one of the coolest words in the entire English language: Snifter - Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SnifterPrior post was indeed a one-pipe problem, now resolved. Celebrating with 2019 Salty Dogs in the Paykoc Brandy Glass Lattice Meer with a first time try of Four Roses.

p.s. I wasn't quite sure what this shape might be called so emailed Paykoc with a couple questions and received a quick reply from Altan Paykoc: "I would call that style a lattice brandy glass. I am honestly unsure on the carver, I have purchased soo many in that range its hard to track. I love this pipe, its comfortable to use and you can usually set them down mid smoke."
Jim, I’d just like to put in a vote for fans of southern rock. If another cat comes along who favors Molly Danger after she “crosses the rainbow bridge,“ you should really name her Molly Hatchet. It’d give her instant street cred with the other cats.Enjoyed a little low calorie snacking, fed an extra hyper Tomato the Brave again, unloaded the dishwasher, played with Molly Danger, and am half way through this bowl of year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight smooth brown Algerian briar post-WW2-early 50s family era Barling’s Make Ye Olde Wood T.V.F. Made in England EL billiard with a tapered black ebonite stem. This pipe is from the estate of David Cuneo. This is one of the pipes I finished cleaning tonight. I picked SJF because the bowl is just a little bigger than the Dunhill I usually smoke it in. Now, when I want a little more than the 1968 Tanshell Dunhill offers, I have this one to rely on. Not going to stop smoking that Dunhill though. This leaves me with eight cleaned estates to match with blends. Some are hard to figure because the bowls are big, and there are some blends that don't work for me in big bowls, except on occasion. The smaller ones... I'm picky about them, too. Luckily for me, I plan on living for a long time, so I have an excuse to bide my time for the right match.
