Looks great!

Know what first smoke will be ?

Pegasus for me today
You wouldn't believe how close we were to being twins this morning as I too had a bowl of C&D Pegasus! But last minute I decided to take my (new to me) French paneled pipe on her maiden voyage. There are no markings on the pipe but the underside of the stem says France, so I'm guessing it's likely a basket pipe. Nevertheless, the pipe is really light and smoked fine, just need to be broken in and put through her paces.

I'm still trying to figure out what family of blends to marry the Peterson short pipe to. But since I have tomorrow off I figured I'd tinker with it then.

Here's a pic of us in action this morning.

Good day all and Happy Birthday bluegrassbrian! Been on a retreat for the past 10 days or so haven't been reporting. Been surviving on a sneaked diet of Royal Yacht along with a favorite blend of 1792 Flake mixed with Wilke Chocolate. Returning to normal today starting with Peterson Flake in a Tilshead smooth Semibent.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed my cats, Daisy the Feral Princess and Harry the Hairy. I'll see the others at one point or another. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

I was mistaken yesterday. This is Astleys, circa 2020, not 2018. Thos was afyer K&K stopped the beautiful presentation upon opening the tin, and just plopped a small brick of flakes inside a square paper thing. Not nearly as good as it was, but it’ll suffice out here on the beach, in one of my Hilsons.

In another thread, we discussed what we bring on trips. This is my rotation for a week in the bayou…

You look adequately equipped! I like that Zulu looking thing at the left with the green stem. (I'm a sucker for green stems. puffy )

You are about 300 miles south of me and your grass needs mowing….. here in NJ its just starting to green up a bit after a very dry summer and fall and winter. Daffodils are in full bloom and some other plants are showing but my lawn looks sad……

Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Right after my last post, I saw that Tomato the Brave was here. He ran to me, but as soon as he got a head scratch, he ran to the yard. That told me that he wanted to play, so I picked every little thing I could find in the yard to play catch with or have him chase. A few minutes later, he came back to me, we went inside, and I fed the li'l fella. Then, I did my walking.
