Pure Virginia in my first clay, some random smaller pipe from smoking pipes for 8 bucks.

I’m hoping there’s a break in time for new clays as this leaving a chalky effect on the tongue… but, this is the best taste I’ve been able to get out of hh pure Virginia, which is hard because it’s already one of my favorites!

@Backwoods Briar they do smoke amazing!

Edit: bowl doesn’t seem hot… but it’s acting as a nice hand warmer.
I really enjoy smoking the clay while reading “1776”, think I’m going to get a smaller one like yours. They can get hot, I do enjoy rediscovering old pipes and tobacco’s you’ve forgotten.
